Some of us are aware of the Significance of Wesak or Buddha Purnima, However most of us remain oblivious to its power . The quote above by Holy Master Djwhal Khul has summed it up perfectly.
Every full moon is powerful in its own way, however for spiritual purposes Buddha purnima or Wesak/Vesak Full moon is THE most powerful full moons of the Year. It is said that even someone who does not meditate the whole year but can meditate at the exact time of Wesak is capable of harnessing the energies of meditating the whole year.. That is the power this Full moon holds.
However, more important than meditation is the purification of our bodies, physically, mentally and emotionally specially our lower emotions.
Bringing in higher spiritual energies without purifying our bodies can lead to a very aggressive or toxic situation in any aspect of our lives, depending upon what we have stored within our energy field. Along with meditation purification is equally important. So whether it is yoga, introspection, writing and burning lower emotions, dancing or expressing yourself whole heartedly in any form. Just focus on doing that this week.
Otherwise, it is like plugging a 220 volt equipment into a 10,000 volts of energy and the results are not pretty, thus Invocations are always extremely important before any group meditations so that our bodies only take in as much energy as they can handle.
However, it is not just a festival of the Eastern tradition, It is a festival for all humanity to be a part of. It is a festival of the Love (Christ) & Light(Buddha) aspect of God. A festival the entire Spiritual Hierarchy is a part of, the Solar Logos to the Planetary Logos to Lord Christ, Sai Baba, All the Buddhas and Bodhitsattvas and all the ascended masters of the world come together on this day and descend into the Wesak / Vesak valley in North eastern Himalayas where Lord Buddha the embodiment of Light on Earth, along with Lord Christ, the Embodiment of Love and the entire spiritual hierarchy make a huge sacrifice for humanity each year on this day when they descend into the Wesak valley for precisely 8 minutes at the time of the Full moon. The exact time of the Wesak Full Moon this year is 05:18 AM on 24 April, 2024 in India, however please check the same for your respective countries.
This is a time when humanity is given a chance to easily access the Love, Light and Power of the Great Beings. It is a time of quiet contemplation, seek forgiveness, to know your souls purpose in this realm of life. A chance to feel the energies of the great ones flowing into you and all of humanity. It is a time when you can access your spiritual teachers and Guru’s more easily and a time like no other for the expansion of consciousness . A time to do service and be an instrument of God to help people in whichever way you can.
It is a time for group consciousness as the thought forms in group consciousness are more powerful and can readily reach the Great ones, many spiritual schools will be meditating together in groups on Wesak all over the world and I request each one of you to be a part of this great event and bless your life.

The importance of Wesak according to ‘Cosmos in Man’ by Torkom Saraydarian is as follows:
“At this time, as the Full Moon is approaching, the Great Ones, the Initiates and disciples are forming a great field of energy in the Himalayas, through their meditation, contemplation, mystical and sacred rituals, and through Their great striving, invocations and contacts.
This is the field which will be charged more and more by the presence of Christ, and through the blessings of the Great Lord Buddha; it will provide a chalice for cosmic energy, and a channel through which these energies can pass to the kingdoms of nature.
This energy field is formed of the four cosmic ethers and, as a huge cloud formation, spreads itself all over the world.
All those who are sensitive enough to this energy field, will slowly notice that seeds of great beauty, truth and goodness start to bloom within their hearts. Thus the Wesak Festival is building a golden bridge between the physical, emotional, mental, intuitional, atmic, monadic and divine planes. Actually, the Wesak ceremony is a great labor of building a communication line between matter and spirit, or among the seven planes of existence. The ceremonies that the Masters are performing with advanced Initiates and disciples is a process to create a tremendous electromagnetic field, to invoke, to evoke, to receive, to assimilate and radiate these energies on all planes, not only on the human level but also upon all the seven cosmic physical planes.”
